The following steps are included in starting a dry fruit company in Dubai:
- Ensure the food you intend to sell is safe for consumption and is packaged neatly.
- Register the products you intend to sell. As per FIRS (Food Import and Export System) by Dubai Municipality.
- Conduct market research and draft a business plan outlining the business model, product range, supply chain pricing strategy, and marketing plan.

- Select a unique business name and comply with UAE naming regulations.
- Obtain a trade license or a specific food trading license through the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET)
- Comply with food safety regulations. The company must be registered with Dubai Municipality’s Food Control Department.
- Secure a storage space to store goods you intend to sell.
- If you intend to import dry fruits, obtain the required permits.
- Open a corporate bank account.
