- Healthcare professionals such as physicians, dentists, allied healthcare, nurses/midwives, traditional, complementary, and alternative medicine.
- Successfully clear any Computer Based Testing (CBT) assessments.
- Gather documents required to submit to the Primary Source Verification (PSV) agency.

Some of the basic documents required include:
- A passport-sized photograph
- Copy of the applicant's passport

- Surgeons are to submit a 2-year surgical logbook.

Given below are the steps involved in acquiring a DHA License:
- Begin the DHA license application by completing the initial self-assessment on the Sheryan self-assessment portal.
- Create an ID on the DHA Sheryan portal.
- Undergo PSV to validate credentials and clear the CBT assessment.
- Formally register on the DHA Sheryan portal.
- Complete an oral assessment.
- After the successful completion of assessments, you can activate your professional license.
- You will be required to pay registration fees of AED 200.
- When awaiting approval from relevant authorities, you may be required to enclose an activation fee that ranges from AED 1000 to AED 4000.
